Dosage of the drug:
According to the strength of the medicine and acuteness of your disease doctors used to prescribe the medicine to take it once or twice a day. Precautions:

• Prior starting the course of this drug, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially about kidney problems, immune system problems, liver problems, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung diseases such as asthma, and other stomach problems.

• Before taking Omeprazole, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you find yourself allergic to the drug or to the similar kind of drugs like lansoprazole, pantoprazole.

Side-effects related to it:

Generic Prilosec may rarely cause a severe intestinal condition associated with diarrhea due to a type of bacteria. As soon as you observe symptoms like stomach or abdominal pain, cramping, blood or mucus in the stool or diarrhea, you need to speak to your physician regarding the same.
